I’m passionate about storytelling, light, color, brass bands, clarinets and travel. My favorite mode of transportation is by ferry. I love all things water. I live in Sunset Park, Brooklyn and Mid-City, New Orleans with my partner, Evan Christopher and our 3-year-old daughter, Ilena. She took this photo of me last summer, using my Leica rangefinder. I did my best at guessing the distance from her so it would be in focus. I love the rangefinder for that, especially on a wedding day, when moments are unfolding quickly and from all directions.
